Tips to Support Team Members Working Late | Just Eat for Business

Even if your team is working out-of-hours, they don't have to miss out on delicious food to help power them through.

If you've got a big project deadline coming up or targets to hit, working out-of-hours might happen every now and again - luckily, we've got a few tips for you to support team members who are working late in the office or elsewhere!

1. Give teams the option to order delicious food and drinks

We all know how important it is to foster employee wellbeing through great food. Working late or over weekends shouldn't mean that people miss out. With Just Eat for Business, we make it easy for companies to subsidise their employees meals. They can order from high-street heroes and local favourites using secure Single-Sign-On, and it all comes through to on a single invoice and business account. Food can be delivered to the office or at home, and our stress-free solution means that you can choose when, where and what your employees can order, with a designated budget,

2. Offer flexibility where possible

If you're able, try to offer flexibility in your teams' work schedule, e.g. allowing them to start later the next day or finish earlier one day later on in the week. People will appreciate the ability to maintain a work-life balance, especially when there's a need to work later than normal.

3.  Provide clear communication

Make sure that all teams understand why they need to work late, and keep an open line of communication so they feel comfortable talking about their workload and any challenges they face. Providing adequate resources for employees is a big part of this, so make sure you know exactly what they need to work.

4. Recognise and appreciate your employees

Acknowledging the extra effort your team members are putting in goes a long way. Expressing gratitude for their dedication and hard work through a thank you email, a team shout-out, or something else can help boost morale.
