Before the COVID-19 pandemic, UK workers were spending on-average, 34 hours and 26 minutes at work, with their colleagues. For many, co-workers were the people we interacted with the most on a daily basis during the working week, but just how well do office workers really know each other?
With many businesses re-opening their offices and welcoming colleagues back, we wanted to understand how UK office workers feel about bonding with their colleagues and employers through organised team building activities - whether it's over a shared office meal, an outdoor activity, team competitions or local social events. Our study surveyed employers and employees from over 200 UK businesses of all sizes to reveal their attitudes towards team-building activities, in-office interactions and workplace relations.
