What is Just Eat Pay?

Just Eat Pay is a flexible food allowance given to you by your employer. You can use the allowance to order/pick-up food online via Just Eat or offline at restaurants with the Just Eat Pay Card.

I want my company to subscribe, how does it work?

Great! You can refer your company to this page to get more information and register.

How can I order online using my Just Eat allowance?

1. Log in to our website or app with the email address linked to your Just Eat allowance.
2. Select pickup or delivery, find your favourite bites and continue to the checkout page by clicking "Order".
3. On the checkout page, your allowance will be automatically deducted from the total amount.

If your allowance covers the full amount, the order can be completed. If the allowance doesn't cover the total amount, the remaining balance can be paid with another online payment method.

Who can I contact if I have questions or issues?

For detailed questions about your allowance (i.e., which days of the week you can use it) please contact your company's Just Eat Pay administrator. The administrator is often a member of the HR or benefits team. Unfortunately, our Just Eat teams are not able assist with this.

I have not received the activation email yet. What can I do?

Please make sure to check your spam inbox first. If you did not receive the activation email, please contact your organisation’s Just Eat Pay admin.

How do I activate my account for Just Eat Pay?

To connect your allowance to your Just Eat account, you simply need to activate your account for Just Eat:

1. Click 'Activate now' in the activation email you receive.

If you haven't received the activation email, please make sure to first check your spam inbox. If you still haven't received the activation email, please contact your company’s Just Eat Pay administrator or event organiser and ask them to resend it.

2. If you already have a Just Eat account, you can log in and link your Just Eat Pay allowance to this account. If you don’t have an account or prefer to receive your allowance on a new account, you can create a new one.

3. Log in to your Just Eat account via our website or mobile app. Your available allowance will be visible in the main menu.

Should I connect my Just Eat Pay allowance to my existing Just Eat account or should I create a new account?

It's up to you! Some people prefer to connect their Just Eat Pay allowance to their professional email address if the allowance is provided by their company.

Where do I log in to order using my Just Eat Pay allowance?

Go to the Just Eat app or website. Click the menu icon and log in with your account details. Order from the restaurant of your choice. If your Just Eat Pay allowance is available, you will see it on the checkout page.

Why isn't my Just Eat Pay allowance available right now?

Your company or event organiser may set restrictions on when and where your Just Eat Pay allowance is available. Please contact your Just Eat Pay administrator if you have questions.

Something went wrong and now my Just Eat Pay allowance is gone. What can I do?

We're sorry that you're experiencing some technical issues. Your allowance will be available again within 30 minutes. Please wait and try again.

Why can't I use my Just Eat Pay allowance when ordering from cash-only restaurants?

Just Eat Pay is a digital payment method. This means cash-only restaurants cannot accept Just Eat Pay as a payment method.

Where can I pay with the Just Eat Pay Card?

The Card can be used only offline and is limited to restaurants, cafes, and other food establishments that accept Mastercard debit. It cannot be used in locations that sell other items, such as clothing stores or petrol stations. It is also limited to offline usage, meaning it does not work for online payments.

The "popular spots" feature (available in-app and on the website) allows you to see at a glance what restaurants, cafes, and other food establishments are popular with other card users.

There's a sticker on the Card that says "Use at selected locations only". What does it mean?

The Card use is limited to establishments in the food and beverage industry only, such as restaurants, cafes and bakeries. As a rule of thumb, think of locations where only prepared meals and beverages are being sold. This means it cannot be used at locations that sell other items, such as supermarkets, clothing stores or petrol stations. It is also limited to offline usage, meaning it does not work for online payments.

How do I activate my Just Eat Pay Card?

Simply enter your PIN when paying with your new card to activate it. The PIN will be sent to you in a separate letter.

What if I want to pay for something that exceeds my daily allowance?

You will need to ask the merchant to split the payment. For example, if your daily limit is £7, you could pay that with your Just Eat Pay Card and the remaining amount with another card, cash, or other forms of payment.

What can I do if I lose my card?

Please contact your organisation's Just Eat Pay administrator for support.

I lost my PIN. How can I get a new one?

Please contact your organisation's Just Eat Pay administrator for support.

Is Just Eat Pay Card a credit card?

No, it is a debit card which stores your Just Eat Pay allowance.

Do I collect points with my Just Eat Pay Card?

Points can only be collected by ordering online. Offline card transactions therefore are currently excluded.

Are the purchases I make with the Card visible to my employer?

No, your employer will not be able to see what you have purchased with your card.

What is the Just Eat Pay virtual card?

The virtual Just Eat Pay Card is a virtual payment method that’s connected directly to your Pay allowance and is stored on your phone. Add it your digital wallet app (Google or Apple Pay), and use it to pay contactless in stores- there’s no PIN code you need to remember!

How do I start using my Just Eat Pay virtual card?

Once your Just Eat Pay admin issues your virtual card, you’ll get an email informing you that your card is waiting for you on your Pay account on the Just Eat app or website. Log in, navigate to the “Card” menu and click the ‘Add to digital wallet’ button. Follow the simple steps inside to retrieve your virtual card details, and copy them into your digital wallet. See a success message? Great! Your virtual card is now active and you can start using it to pay easily in stores.

I received a message my Just Eat Pay card will expire. What should I do?

Your physical card will automatically be replaced with a virtual card. This card will have a three year expiry date.

If you have already added your card to your Google/Apple wallet you won't need to do it again. The virtual card will automatically update the details in the wallet.

If you haven't added your card to your Google/Apple wallet and want to do so, please enter your card details that are located in the Just Eat Pay section of your account. This can be found on the Just Eat website or the settings menu in the Just Eat app.

I want a physical card. What should I do?

If you have specific reasons to use a physical card you can request this with your local HR contact.

How do I add my physical card to my Google/Apple wallet?

Go to the Wallet app on your phone, scan your card, accept the T&C and verify your card with your work email.
