Delivering Positive Impact

People and Planet

At Just Eat for Business, our mission is to make people’s working lives better.

We recognise the responsibility and opportunity we have to impact and influence the dynamic industry of food-delivery. We’re working hard to innovate our technology and platform to support initiatives that reduce our carbon footprint as well as support and aid the local communities we operate in.

We believe that to make a difference, it’s crucial we continue bringing together impact-driven initiatives as well as long-term vision that supports both the planet and the communities around us.

People

Whether it’s meals for the NHS or fighting hunger, we believe that giving back to the community is essential.

That's why people are at the heart of what we do, both in and out of the office.

Planet

Keeping people happy is only half of our mission - we want to keep the planet happy and healthy too.

Each day we work hard to make Just Eat for Business more sustainable and eco-friendly for all.

March 2021

#FeedYourCommunity - 100K meals delivered!

Back in March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck the UK, we launched our #FeedYourCommunity initiative to help support key workers and vulnerable people. Since then we’ve worked with dozens of our vendor partners to deliver over 100,000 meals to hospitals, fire stations, food banks, schools, shelters, and more.

December 2020

Christmas charity partnerships

During the festive season, we partnered with three charities and causes to help provide support and nourishment to people in need after such a challenging year. We were thrilled to work alongside Crisis, Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen, and Feed London to support their initiatives during December.

February 2019

City Harvest partnership

Every year, the UK wastes millions of tonnes of food waste, and yet many still struggle to afford to eat. That’s why we’ve taken a stand against food waste by partnering with food redistribution charity City Harvest. Since 2019 we’ve been working together closely to help redirect food that would have otherwise been wasted to people who need it most.

January 2015

Food businesses that do good

Since the beginning of Just Eat for Business, we’ve been proud to partner with many food businesses that share the same values as we do. Whether it’s plant-based meals from Atis, which uses Karma to prevent food waste, or brownies from Luminary Bakery, which helps support and empower disadvantaged women, our vendor partners work hard to give customers delicious food time and time again, while helping out in the community.

June 2021

EcoVadis silver medal rating

We received a silver medal from the world's most trusted business sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis. This result places Just Eat for Business among the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.

November 2020 New Initiative

Reducing emissions

Delivering delicious food to teams can take its toll on the environment, so in November 2020 we partnered with e-cargo bike delivery company Pedal Me to make our services greener. And when we can’t use Pedal Me, we offset delivery emissions through ClimateCare!

September 2020

Delivery boxes

Back in September 2020, we introduced new delivery boxes to streamline our logistics and further reduce carbon emissions. This decision has helped us to save up to half a ton of CO2e every week.

November 2018

Greenman Packaging

greenman

Getting meals from A to B efficiently and sustainably isn’t the only thing we’re doing to be more green. Providing our vendor partners with eco-friendly packaging is top of our list too! That’s why we partnered with Greenman Packaging back in 2018 to give our vendors exclusive offers on planet-friendly packaging, as well as free eco-audits provided by Oceanic Global.
